Product review – Troy Lee Designs Skyline Short
As someone who has put off investing in high quality riding shorts for far too long, i finally decided it was time to treat myself. The visually appealing Troy Lee Designs Skyline Short caught my attention. I was quick to try them on, sizing was spot on (size 34 was size 34). On the trail the shorts felt comfortable, the stretchy material was breathable and flexed well when pedaling in a seated or standing position. The lightweight material is easy to wear all day and keeps you dry. The tapered leg design is perfect as it is not so tight that you can’t wear a knee-pad comfortably, but also not baggy like a typical free-ride short that are prone to getting caught on your seat and flapping around at speed. The velcro adjustment tabs on the side allow you to get your fit perfect and the handy pockets make the shorts almost cool enough to wear out on friday night!
- light weight,
- well tailored for for pedaling,
- high quality fabric and stitching
- no zips on pockets
The shorts are perfect for fussy segment crushing XC riders right through to your decent hungry enduro rider. I give these awesome shorts 4 1/2 stars out of 5 (because there is always room for improvement). Grab yourself a pair now!
